The first 968 digits of phi

Info:

Acrylic on Canvas, 63 x 63cm

Year:

2025

Exploring the gradation of violets, blues and yellows, this painting represents the first 968 digits of the golden ratio (phi).

This painting contains 12 unique colours and is split into 3 sections. Each section contains 10 colours, with each colour representing a number from 0 - 9. The wooden triangles are in the 3rd section and represent the number 9. I have included braille for better understanding as to which colour corresponds to which number.

Framed using painted pine wood.
