Inspired by orange hues, this painting represents the digits of phi between 6,397 and 8,528. Fourth in a series of five paintings, this artwork visually explores how this particular irrational number presents itself.

Each colour represents a particular number, with the wooden triangles representing the number 9. I have included braille for better understanding as to which colour corresponds to which number.

Framed using stained Tasmanian oak
